Aberdare National Park Safari

Aberdare National Park, set across the dramatic Aberdare mountain range, is one of Kenya's most atmospheric reserves — a landscape of dense rainforest, bamboo groves, high moorlands, and cascading waterfalls. It's best known for its unique tree hotels, elevated lodges built beside floodlit waterholes and salt licks, allowing guests to watch elephants, buffalo, and rare forest species arrive through the night without ever leaving their room. The park is also one of the few places where the elusive bongo antelope and the rare black leopard have been spotted, alongside golden cats and colobus monkeys in its thick forest canopy. Waterfalls like Gura Falls, one of Kenya's tallest, and the open moorland plateau add striking scenic variety, making Aberdare a refreshingly different safari experience from Kenya's drier savannah parks.
